Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting
- Lead the accurate preparation of the company's Federal/Foreign income tax expense (both current and deferred) for quarterly Form 10-Q and annual Form 10-K purposes. Evaluate uncertain tax reporting positions and business combinations in order to properly reflect the tax treatment of such items in the financial statements.
- Analyze tax accounting and reporting requirements for business combinations, debt and equity offerings, and other major corporate transactions.
- Analyze the tax aspects of financial projections and forecasts.
- Lead technology and process improvements to ensure accurate, timely information is provided to the financial reporting group.
- Tax Compliance and Controversy
- Plan and execute the preparation and filing of U.S. federal and state income tax returns, including management of tax specialists and advisor.
- Review and approve U.S. taxable income calculations and forecasts and identify potential tax savings opportunities.
- Review US indirect tax returns including sales, use, and gross receipts
- Manage U.S. federal income tax audits and other inquiries. Maintain concurrent, audit-ready workpapers and financial records for all filings.
- Support the regional finance team in conversations with local tax advisors on any tax-related matters
- M&A - Provide support for domestic transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and business initiatives. Approve calculations and/or disclosures relating to the impact of such transactions.
- Planning and Legislative - Initiate and review analysis of changes in tax legislation and provide recommendations to management.
Job Qualifications
- B.B.A. MBA, or Above in Financial, Accounting, or related field
- Experience: 10-15 years in public accounting and corporate
- Had experience of US GAAP- ASC 740 and SOX are highly desirable
- Knowledge in Financial & Accounting
- Excellent in English
- Able to work in U.S.A
