Role and Responsibilities

* Identifying business opportunities, developing and implementing strategies to expand the company's market presence and achieve financial targets.
* Manage the financial aspects of business development opportunities, encompassing innovations, new brands, packaging, products, distribution, export and import, business expansion, reformulation, revenue management, and other operational, tactical, or strategic changes.
* Work with related function/person to study feasibility and ROI of the new project.
* Prepare and present cost-benefit analyses to support business case development and the implementation of projects.
* Monitor project progress, assist the project manager in reporting to project steering committee and work closely with internal teams to streamline communication and processes
* Gather data that relate to project progress, performance, problem and support needs from several projects in pipeline and reporting to steering committee.
* Identify/set up project KPIs by considering quality, time and resources.
* Establish strong business partnerships with key commercial and operations stakeholders to ensure the achievement of business objectives through efficient and effective means,
* Analyze industry trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform strategic decisions.
* Act as a business partner to the commercial team, delivering timely and insightful key drivers for informed decision-making. Utilise financial scenarios and analyses. Analyse profit and loss by brand and SKU, growth by channel and region, and other relevant metrics,
* Analyze financial data and market trends to make informed business decisions.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
* Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Accounting
* At least 5 years of working experience in business development
* Analytical and problem-solving abilities
* Familiarity with business development processes and strategies
* Proactive and able to take initiative.
