Job Title: Managing Director (Water Pump) 300K
Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and direction to the company, setting clear goals and objectives in alignment with the overall vision and mission.
- Identify emerging trends and business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and market expansion.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance processes, workflows, and overall organizational efficiency.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, including financial management, budgeting, resource allocation, and project management.
- Lead and foster a collaborative and high-performance work culture to drive new initiatives.
- Cultivate relationships with clients, partners, vendors, and other stakeholders to foster collaboration.
- Monitor financial indicators to ensure the company's financial health and operational efficiency and report to board of directors regarding overall performance.
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives, drive growth, and increase market share in the water pump industry.
- Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and partnerships to expand market presence. Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including modern trade channels and dealer networks.
- Sales and Marketing: Lead sales and marketing initiatives to promote products and services through modern trade channels and dealer stores. Develop pricing strategies, promotional campaigns, and product positioning strategies.
- Operational Management: Oversee day-to-day operations, including production, supply chain management, and distribution. Ensure operational efficiency and quality standards are met.
- Financial Management: Manage financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Monitor key financial metrics and make data-driven decisions to drive profitability.
- Team Leadership: Provide leadership and direction to the management team and employees. Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, or related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior leadership role, preferably as a Managing Director or similar position in the water pump industry.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills. Ability to analyze market trends, identify opportunities, and develop effective business strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in managing modern trade channels and dealer networks, with a track record of achieving sales targets and business growth.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of financial management principles, including budgeting, financial analysis, and performance metrics.
- Leadership qualities, including the ability to inspire and motivate teams, drive change, and foster a positive work culture.
- Strong background in strategic leadership, business development, sales, and operational management, specifically within the context of the water pump industry and working with modern trade channels and dealer networks.
