Procurement and Import - Export Manager (Plastic bag manufacturer industry)
Workplace: Samphran District, Nakhon Pathom Province
Working days and hours: Monday to Friday
(Saturday is typically for standby duty, no need to come to the office, except for the first Saturday of the month)
Working hours: Flexi Hour, selectable in 4 time slots: 07:30-16:30, 08:00-17:00, 08:30-17:30, or 09:00-18:00.
Salary: min 100k (Salary does not include benefits such as phone allowance and transportation expenses.)
Reporting to CEO / Subordinates: 11 Headcounts
Responsibilities
- Regularly review vendors and contracts to secure the best deals.
- Implement effective sourcing processes while ensuring transparency and compliance.
- Lead improvements in strategic sourcing, promoting efficiency and integration.
- Analyze spending and develop sourcing strategies for senior management approval.
- Initiate cost-saving programs and negotiate favorable contracts with suppliers.
- Collaborate with procurement to identify new supplier opportunities.
- Stay informed on market trends and propose backup plans as needed.
- Streamline supplier relationships and standardize terms.
- Manage import-export processes to minimize taxes and freight costs.
- Supervise customs compliance and documentation submission.
- Monitor tax incentive usage related to customs regulations.
- Undertake any other assigned tasks or projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or master's degree in business, Economics, Finance, Logistics, or in a related fields
- Able to influence internal and external partners.
- Capable of leading, directing, and developing others
- Demonstrate ability to self-start, determining work steps based upon management direction.
- Able to communicate at a business English level.
- Only Thai nationality accepted
- Experienced in SAP or ERP-related with a proven record of achievements in terms of cost reduction/cost savings will be highly advantageous
