Report: Financial Controller (Thai & Regional)
Responsibilities
· Manage overall in accounting & finance and cost accounting system.
· Ensure that financial reporting is prepared in accordance with local GAAP and Group Reporting with an effective timely and accurate.
· Review and ensure that all local tax requirements i.e, VAT, withholding tax, special business tax and corporate income tax are complied with local tax regulation.
· Submit reports required by local authorities i.e, BOI, Ministry of Commerce.
· As Finance: Review all payments before execution of payments either cheque signing or internet banking, Credit management - Implement credit management procedures in accounting software i.e., credit limit, credit term
· Control and lead finance and accounting team to ensure that all activities are completed accurately and on time
· Responsible for customer invoicing and collections, vendor payments and debtor and creditor control.
· Improve process of business such as cost control, inventory control, internal control
· Verify and analyst report on the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial performance of the company against budget and forecast
· Ensure all transactions are recorded in the company books in accordance with Thailand Accounting Standard and strict adherence to company policies and procedure.
· Review and verify profit and loss statement and monthly closing and consolidate financial statement, and prepare monthly and yearly of accounting reports for parent company, subsidiary company and associate company
· Prepared and presented managerial reports and financial advice to CEO and others senior executives regarding to the business expansion
· Financial performance report against budget and forecast on timely basis; month-end, year-end
· Liaise with regulatory authorities, external auditors, and internal auditor to provide data and answer questions regarding finance, accounting, and taxations
· Responsible for annual budget report, quarter forecast report
· Manage working capital, investment funds, as well as monitor and take proper actions to ensure that the company is profitable, risk protected, and financially strong.
Qualifications:
· Thai nationality only
· Bachelor's Degree in accounting
· CPD / CPA is advantage
· At least 5 years in overall accounting and finance functions
· Some audit experience is preferred
· Experience with property developers and listed companies
· Self Starter, Energetic, Can do attitude
· Good personality, communication and presentation skills
· Communicable in English.
