Responsibilities:

  1. Commercial Strategy: Assist in developing and implementing commercial strategies to maximize revenue, expand market share, and identify new business opportunities within the port and terminal sector.

  2. Contract Management: Oversee contract negotiations, review terms, and ensure compliance with contractual agreements. Manage contracts with clients, suppliers, and service providers to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.

  3. Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients. Understand their needs, address concerns, and act as a point of contact for commercial inquiries and negotiations.

  4. Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and opportunities for business development. Provide insights to support decision-making and strategy formulation.

  5. Financial Analysis: Assist in financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting related to commercial activities. Analyze financial data and performance metrics to assess profitability and support informed decision-making.

  6. Sales Support: Collaborate with the sales team to develop proposals, pricing strategies, and presentations for potential clients. Assist in developing marketing strategies to promote services and attract new business.

  7. Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with industry regulations, trade laws, and internal policies. Identify and mitigate commercial risks through proactive measures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Commerce, or a related field.

  • 5 years of proven experience in commercial management, preferably within the port and terminal industry or related logistics field.

  • Strong understanding of commercial principles, contract negotiations, and business development strategies.

  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.

  • Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal skills and English language skill.

  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools used in commercial management.
