Position: Associate Manager, Quantity Surveyor, (MEP Engineering) 60-90K

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed, analyze, and forecast project cost estimates, including determine needed resources (manpower, equipment, and materials) and control all cost.
  • Work with the project manager to ensure that the resources are being used efficiently and efficiently - the end goal is to have the project complete in time within the forecasted budget.
  • Prepare and manage tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contract bids, ensuring the selection of cost-effective and high-quality contractors.
  • Monitor, record, and manage any changes and variations in the project scope.
  • Review shop drawings and specifications during project development and project construction phase.
  • Provide recommendations and supervise on technical issues related to architecture, interior design, structure, MEP, façade works, Thailand's law, and regulation etc.
  • Implement value engineering techniques to optimize project costs without compromising on quality and performance.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Participate in both internal and external meetings to ensure that drawings are well designed; quality, and functionality are being met by the regulation and the developer's requirements.
  • Ensure the construction process and procedure comply with relevant regulations and permits.
  • Value completed work, oversee bills, and arrange payments.
  • Generate detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders and management, summarizing cost performance and potential risks.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Architecture, Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of real estate, architecture, construction and/or project management experience is required.
  • Experience with commercial company project: office, apartment, retail etc.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, problem-solving, and research skills.
  • Project management and organizational skills with the ability to manage the time of others efficiently.
  • Design standards, regulations, and building codes knowledge.
  • Proficiency in a full suite of Microsoft office product, AutoCAD, Revit, and MS PROJECT.
  • Proficient English in speaking and writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbally and written).
  • Entrepreneurial thinking.
  • Ability to juggle multiple deadlines and tasks at the same time.
  • Detail-oriented and keen on digging for more information.
  • Self-driven, ability to work independently and manage the productivity.
