Business Development Director (Wind Turbine)

- Proposal and Negotiation: Prepare and present proposals to potential clients, outlining the benefits of the company's wind turbine products or services. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze the financial aspects of potential projects, including cost-benefit analysis, revenue projections, and risk assessments. Make data-driven decisions to prioritize investment opportunities.
- Project Management: Oversee the development and execution of wind turbine projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. This may involve collaborating with engineering and operations teams.
- Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with industry regulations and ensure that all business activities are compliant with relevant laws and standards.
- Reporting and Metrics: Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development efforts. Provide regular updates to the executive team on progress and challenges.
- Develops/enhances the Resource Hub to effectively address the project execution demand.
- Develops Site resource Hub's short- and long-range goals, work plans, objectives with measurable performance standards and tracks effectiveness.
- Develops and manages assigned program budget.
- Develops, implements, and monitors policies and procedures.
- Ensures compliance with regulations and contract requirements, budget development and allocations, allowable costs, direct and indirect costs, approval of expenditures.
- Develops new program areas including goals and objectives, work tasks, and budgets.
- Monitor and maintain time sheet management systems to provide proper evaluation and documentation of Resource Hub.
- Reviews and analyzes performance data to include identification of problems, analyzes and evaluates deficiencies or difficulties, and provides Construction Head with alternatives and recommended courses of action.
- Conducts annual needs assessment reviews, including analysis of quantitative and qualitative information to support planning and resolution of issues.
- Supervises, plans, and organizes the work of assigned staff.
- Manage regional field demands and collect lessons learned or improvement from project site.
- Support the project delivery according to business commitments and Project Management
- Education: Typically, a bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, engineering, or renewable energy is required. A master's degree in business administration (MBA) can be advantageous.
- Industry Experience: Significant experience in the wind turbine or renewable energy industry is essential. This may include prior roles in sales, project management, or engineering within the sector.
