The Equipment and Engineering Manager is a critical leadership role responsible for the safe, efficient, and cost-effective operation and maintenance of all crane assets within the port facility. This position oversees a team of crane operators, technicians, and supervisors, ensuring optimal crane performance to support continuous cargo handling operations. The successful candidate will drive operational excellence, implement best practices in safety and maintenance, and contribute significantly to the port's productivity and profitability. This role requires a strong focus on technical expertise, team management, and adherence to international safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering.
Minimum of 8-10 years of progressive experience in port operations, with at least 5 years in a leadership role directly managing crane operations and maintenance. Familiarity with port operating systems (e.g., TOS - Terminal Operating System).
In-depth knowledge of various types of port cranes (Quay crane, RTG) and their mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Proven track record of improving operational efficiency and safety in a challenging port environment. (CMMS experience preferred: MAXIMO).
Experience with automated or semi-automated crane systems.
Strong understanding of international maritime and port safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control costs effectively.
Proficiency in English, Thai.
Computer literate with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities e.g. Excel, Power BI.
