ORG UNIT: Finance Strategy
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee and manage the capital structure and capitalization table of portfolio companies
- Prepare and maintain high quality, accurate and timely long term financial projections to serve company Executive Committee and/or CoFounder for decision making, reporting, and group consolidation
- Prepare and present periodic performance reviews to key stakeholders covering salient aspects of company and/or companies portfolio
- Prepare financial information for the purpose of compliance requirement e.g. supplementary information on petroleum exploration and production activities, financial highlights, sustainability report, annual report
- Analyze Financial Ratios and key business metrics and generate insights and awareness to Executive Committee and/or CoFounders
- Perform periodic business stress tests with CoFounders for health check
- Monitor public, private, and venture capital markets
- Review and monitor financial projection to identify medium to long-term funding needs
- Develop and propose funding and liquidity management strategy including financial instrument, timeline, process and implementation in order to ensure funding availability to support growth targets
- Process long term intra-company funding (both equity and debt) to ensure sufficient funding to support operations in timely manner and comply with regulatory requirement
- Monitor financial covenants, interest payments and its redemption, financial fees and other financing obligations
- Sustainably manage and leverage relationships with all key financial stakeholders including financial service providers, investors, regulators, auditors etc.
- Handle issues impacting FS at operational level as well as prepare a wide of materials for the purpose of providing decision support
- Perform technology market and industry analysis including trends, size, and key drivers, both macro and micro by using logical methodology and in-depth information analysis
- Identify key player and conduct in-depth analysis on business strategy, operation, and performance of each identified target
- Formulate precise visualized information of industry ecosystem to support company's growth strategy and business planning
- Prepare report and presentation with reliable information and recommendation based on logical reasoning, business practice, and supporting data
- Create, maintain, and refreshing 'industry and market intelligence' database
- Pro-actively identify and initiate discussions with external parties for enhance business networking and industry insights
- Assist strategic planning and ventures team on corporate strategy works, reports, workshops, and fundraising activities
- Prepare and present strategy pitch decks, periodic industry and market updates to Company Executives
Education and Experience::
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Business; CFA Level 1 preferable but not required
- 3-5 years of professional experience in financial analysis, financial reporting, managerial accounting, business analysis, strategic planning or consulting
