Job Summary
We are looking for a seasoned and highly competent Financial Controller to take charge of our finance operations. This position is key to optimizing financial performance, ensuring compliance with Thai and international financial standards, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business. The role also focuses on operational effectiveness and aligning financial practices with global objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Financial & Management Reporting
Supervise Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial transactions and reporting.
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with both local regulations and corporate guidelines.
Utilize strong analytical capabilities and strategic insight to interpret financial data, delivering actionable recommendations that support informed business decisions.
2. Budgeting, Forecasting & Financial Planning
Lead the rolling forecast process and the development of annual budgets, including variance analysis and risk evaluation.
Ensure financial plans are aligned with local business strategies and corporate performance goals.
Collaborate closely with Sales and Operations teams to monitor key financial and operational performance indicators.
3. ERP & Systems Management
Oversee the financial functions within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and ensure system effectiveness across teams.
Drive ongoing system enhancements, automation initiatives, and reporting improvements to increase efficiency.
4. Compliance, Tax, and Statutory Reporting
Ensure adherence to Thai financial regulations and tax laws, including timely submission of reports such as PND.50, PND.51, BOJ.5, and filings with the DBD.
Maintain strong internal control systems and manage all audit activities.
Serve as the primary contact for auditors, tax authorities, banks, and external advisors.
Administer financial responsibilities across two Thai legal entities (holding and trading companies).
5. Team Leadership & Development
Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high standards of accuracy, teamwork, and professional growth.
Foster efficient workflows, implement financial best practices, and uphold strong internal governance.
Communicate complex financial matters clearly to stakeholders across departments.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
At least 5 years in a finance leadership role, ideally within an international or matrix-structured organization.
Valid CPD license in Thailand is required; CPA Thailand is a strong plus.
Deep understanding of Thai GAAP, IFRS, and local tax regulations.
Hands-on experience with ERP systems, particularly Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.
Strong English communication skills (minimum IELTS 6 / TOEFL 80 / TOEIC 660).
Excellent attention to detail, analytical mindset, and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.
Proven leadership, problem-solving abilities, and stakeholder management skills.
Experience working under ISO 9001 standards or participating in ISO 9001 certification processes is advantageous.
