Responsibilities:

  • The incumbent shall be responsible for the implementation, monitoring and improvement of financial systems (D365 and its modules) for the business unit. He/She shall also be responsible for analysing financial performance on a regular basis and support the financial controller on various adhoc requests.
  • Manage Standard cost of manufacturing products set up & revaluation in time.
  • PPV and variance analysis , investigate abnormal fluctuation for product cost, provide more useful information to relevant for improvement.
  • Ensure costing & pricing for new products done on timely and accurately, update STD set up and revaluation in time.
  • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking of business unit.
  • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews.
  • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with plans and forecasts.
  • Drive and manage Inventories (working capital) on Obsolete and slow movement stock by review including the effectiveness of inventory cycle count.
  • Work closely with Unit controller to find opportunities to improve internal controls, improve business performance by doing several analyses.
  • Insightful business analysis and crisp articulation for senior leadership on monthly basis.
  • Ensure close working with Corporate and adherence to various requirements.
  • Review capital expense requisitions to make sure that project has right payback and deliverables. Also doing post capital spend analysis to monitor committed deliverable.
  • Analyze the impact of foreign exchange fluctuations on the businesses.
  • Ensuring fair valuation of products using standard costing or other applicable valuation policies.

Qualifications:

  • 5 to 7 years of business finance or other relevant experience in industry/professional firm.
  • Proficient Proficient in product costing and inventory valuation techniques.
  • Charted Accountant/Cost Accountant/MBA Finance or equivalent with a strong FP&A bent.
  • Should have exposure to D365/Equivalent ERP package.  Proficient in MS Office - Strong fluency with Excel formulas and functions.
