Key Department Objectives

The Head of Finance will play a central role in aligning the finance team with the organization's growth strategy. The department's key priorities include:

1. 
   Expansion and Scalability
   • Lead financial planning and strategy to support new restaurant launches and business scaling.
   • Oversee the growth of one flagship brand, with a goal of opening 5-6 locations across Bangkok.
   • Manage capital investments in centralized kitchen facilities to streamline production and purchasing processes.
   • Drive the consolidation of the flagship brand into a unified operational structure as it expands.
2. 
   Team Development and Project Oversight
   • Build and scale the finance team to match the needs of a rapidly growing enterprise.
   • Provide financial leadership for new projects, ensuring they align with organizational goals and timelines.
   • Establish systems to manage multi-company financial operations and inter-company transactions.
3. 
   Digital Transformation
   • Implement ERP systems, inventory management tools, and purchasing software to enhance efficiency and enable data-driven decisions.
4. 
   Operational Efficiency
   • Optimize accounting processes for timely reporting and compliance with Thai regulations.
   • Strengthen internal controls to support transparent and scalable financial operations.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Finance to lead financial operations for our expanding restaurant group. This role is integral to driving the company's financial strategy and ensuring operational excellence as the organization grows rapidly.
With oversight of financial planning, compliance, and team development, this position offers a unique opportunity to shape the financial foundation of a multi-brand enterprise. Financial Strategy & Leadership

• Design and implement financial strategies to support expansion, including new restaurant launches and centralized production initiatives.
• Provide financial analysis and insights to guide executive decision-making.
• Manage financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment.

Operational Management

• Oversee multi-entity financial operations, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
• Develop processes for seamless cost allocation, inter-company transfers, and consolidated reporting.
• Streamline essential accounting functions, such as AR/AP processes and tax declarations.
• Ensure timely preparation of year-end financial audits in collaboration with auditors.

New Openings & Investment Management

• Manage financial planning for new restaurant projects, including budgeting, cost analysis, and ROI assessments.
• Coordinate pre-opening budgets and resources, ensuring alignment with timelines and business goals.
• Track and optimize the financial performance of new locations post-launch.

Compliance & Reporting

• Ensure strict adherence to Thai tax laws and financial regulations, including VAT, withholding tax, and corporate tax requirements.
• Prepare and present financial reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to stakeholders.
• Work closely with auditors, tax advisors, and government agencies to maintain financial integrity.

Process Improvement

• Evaluate current accounting processes and introduce systems to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
• Establish and enforce strong internal financial controls and policies.

Team Structure & Leadership

• Lead a team of six professionals, including roles in finance management, AR/AP, and payroll administration.
• Foster professional growth within the team while scaling operations to meet organizational needs.
• Collaborate directly with the CEO to align financial goals with the company's broader objectives.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) Thailand qualification required, with the ability to certify final financial statements before external audits.

Experience

• At least 10 years of senior financial leadership experience, with 5+ years managing teams of 10 or more in multi-entity environments.
• Proven success in scaling operations, ideally within the restaurant, hospitality, or retail sectors.
• Expertise in multi-entity financial operations, including inter-company transactions and consolidated reporting.
• In-depth knowledge of Thai tax laws, compliance requirements, and auditing practices.
