Looking for NEW DEPARTMENT "HR Manager: with candidate as qualification below;

Location in Sukumvit

Working day: Monday - Friday

Working hours: 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

Holidays: Total Paid Holidays per year - 40 days - inclusive of all Thai public holidays

Key points

  • HR Manager to lead our human resources department in a medium-sized school.

  • The candidate will need to drive many new processes and changes.

  • Strong background in HR management, including recruitment, contract writing, retention, employee relations, compensation and benefits, and performance management.

  • The HR Manager will work closely with school leadership to develop and implement HR policies and practices that align with the school's mission and values.

Job Description:

  • Assist the Head of School, Head of Teaching and Learning, and other department heads with the recruitment process for all positions at the school.

  • Be comfortable working in the School role and Search Associates teaching search platforms.Work closely with the Head of School, Head of Teaching and Learning, and others in these platforms.

  • Write and edit contracts that are in accordance with school policies and the relevant legal guidelines, with a high level of attention to detail.

  • This individual will be responsible for developing a more thorough HR policy and handbook for the school. Will be responsible to implement these HR policies and practices that support the school's mission and goals. Will need to work with multiple stakeholders across the school to generate buy-in to ensure the implementation and execution of these policies is successful.

  • Currently there is a not a standard performance review process of the school. Will be responsible for working with the Head of School and different department heads to develop a bespoke new performance management process. Responsible for the implementation and success of this process. After implementation, responsible to oversee performance management processes, including performance evaluations and professional development plans.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.

  • Develop and implement employee benefits programs.

  • Oversee employee relations issues, including investigations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary action.

  • Manage the HR budget and ensure cost-effective HR practices.

  • Generate monthly reports to the senior management team.

  • Provide guidance and support to school leadership on HR issues.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree

    • HR management on a related field a plus, but not required

    • Education, or related field a plus, but not required

  • At least 5 years of experience in HR or a related field

  • Good understanding of the international school landscape

    • Knowledge of Bangkok market a plus, but not required

  • English fluency required

  • Knowledge of relevant Thai employment laws and regulations.

  • Strong leadership and management skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with school leadership and faculty.

  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

  • A strategic, data-driven mindset

  • Personable, friendly, and comfortable to speak with everyone at the organization with professionalism and confidentiality
