Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic International Sales Director to lead our global sales efforts. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of selling B2B solutions to major dangerous goods transportation fleets, heavy equipment body builders, and related industry players. This hands-on role demands strategic vision, deep industry knowledge, and a strong ability to develop and expand our presence across Africa, Asia, the Middle East, and the APAC region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to penetrate new markets and grow existing accounts across targeted regions.
  • Establish, manage, and nurture in-country and regional channel partner relationships to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Identify and engage potential clients within dangerous goods transportation, heavy equipment, and related sectors.
  • Provide technical expertise and support throughout the sales process, leveraging engineering background when applicable.
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to tailor solutions to customer needs.
  • Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Lead negotiations and close major deals, ensuring profitability and long-term partnerships.
  • Monitor sales performance, prepare forecasts, and report regularly to executive leadership.
  • Represent the company at international trade shows, industry events, and client meetings.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of B2B sales experience within the transportation, heavy equipment, or related industries.
  • Extensive experience selling to dangerous goods transportation fleets and heavy equipment body builders.
  • Proven success in penetrating and expanding markets across Africa, Asia, Middle East, and APAC regions.
  • Engineering background is highly advantageous.
  • Fluency in multiple languages is preferred.
  • Strong network of industry contacts and channel partners in target regions.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on, results-driven attitude with a strategic mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
