Inventory Supervisor - Warehouse & Logistics (New Plant)

Job Summary:
As an Inventory Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing inventory management activities to ensure accuracy, availability, and proper control of stock. You will lead the inventory team to maintain optimal stock levels, minimize discrepancies, and support production and customer demand. Your role will be critical in driving efficiency, reducing waste, and maintaining high-quality standards.

Logistics Coordination and Inventory Control:

• Coordinate closely with warehouse, procurement, and production teams to ensure timely and accurate inventory flow.
• Supervise inventory receiving, storage, and issuance processes to maintain accuracy and prevent stockouts or overstocking.
• Implement and monitor inventory tracking systems and cycle counts.

Vendor and Internal Stakeholder Collaboration:

• Work with suppliers, warehouse staff, and production teams to ensure inventory availability aligns with operational needs.
• Maintain clear communication and collaboration to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory accuracy.

Inventory Accuracy and Quality Assurance:

• Monitor inventory accuracy through regular audits and reconciliations.
• Identify and address inventory variances, conducting root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards during material handling and storage.

Process Improvement and Compliance:

• Develop and improve inventory management processes to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and industry best practices.
• Analyze trends and inventory KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement.

Reporting and Performance Monitoring:

• Generate reports on inventory levels, turnover, shrinkage, and discrepancies.
• Use data insights to recommend improvements and support decision-making.
• Monitor and control inventory costs within budget.

Team Leadership and Development:

• Lead, train, and motivate the inventory team to achieve departmental goals.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and accountability.
• Ensure team compliance with operational standards and timely reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor or higher in logistics, supply chain management, or related fields.
• 4-5 years experience in inventory control or warehouse supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficient in inventory management systems and advanced Excel.
• Good communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of lean principles (6S, 7 wastes) preferred.
