Job Highlights:
Arrange a timely, secure, and cost-effective shipping/transportation/forwarding of products and materials according to agreed guidelines.
Arrange logistics solutions; coordinate assignments with forwarders, define the most appropriate means of transport, prepare shipping documents and handle customs declarations.
Research, identify, and obtain permits, licenses and certificates that are required for customs clearance.
Communicate with external organizations (for example customs authorities or shipping agents) to verify customs requirements and negotiate shipping costs and dates.
Support transportation negotiations by providing cost and route analyses, and route alternatives.
Respond to routine internal and customer enquiries regarding delivery times, the status of shipments and orders so that they can be dealt with promptly and accurately.
Work independently to complete given tasks and responds to standard enquires.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management or other related fields.
1-2 years of work experience in logistics.
Knowledge of Incoterms 2010, Harmonized System and customs processes.
Self-driven, independent, and willing to take on challenges.
Service minded and mature, with a pleasant personality and excellent organizational skills.
Ability to provide immediate responses and make good judgements without supervision.
Ability to give and receive feedback.
Good command of English.
Proficiency in MS office.
