Position: Marketing Director, Food Industry
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Job Overview: Our client is seeking a highly experienced Marketing Director to lead and drive our marketing strategies in the food industry. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 15 years of working experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG), Food, and Retail sectors, and a proven track record of success in Product Marketing and Trade Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to promote our food products and brands in the competitive market, ensuring long-term growth and market share expansion.
  • Product Marketing: Lead product marketing efforts, including product launches, pricing strategies, and market positioning. Identify opportunities for product innovation and differentiation.
  • Trade Marketing: Create and implement trade marketing programs and initiatives to boost sales and foster strong partnerships with distributors, retailers, and other stakeholders.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends, consumer preferences, and competitive landscape. Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions.
  • Brand Management: Oversee brand management activities, ensuring brand consistency and alignment with company values and objectives.
  • Budget Management: Manage and allocate marketing budgets effectively, ensuring maximum ROI and cost control.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Product Development, and Supply Chain, to align marketing efforts with overall business goals.


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressively responsible marketing experience in the FMCG, Food, and Retail industries.
  • Proven experience in Product Marketing and Trade Marketing, with a successful track record of launching and promoting food products.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and manage a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Data-driven decision-making capabilities.
  • Fluent in English with a preference for proficiency in both written and spoken Thai.
