Responsibilities:
- Strategize and manage material consumption aligned with production schedules for timely order fulfillment.
- Maintain and generate Material Requirement Planning (MRP) in alignment with sales orders and forecasts.
- Outline material needs and initiate the procurement process by issuing purchase orders and call plans to suppliers.
- Guarantee uninterrupted material supply and optimize material inventory levels through pull-in, push-out, and cancellation strategies.
- Collaborate effectively with both Intercompany and third-party suppliers to enhance operational efficiency.
- Oversee material deliveries, addressing shipment issues with suppliers and coordinating with forwarders and the quality team to prevent material shortages.
- Collaborate with the master data team to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Monitor inventory levels, ensuring alignment with agreed targets and accuracy.
- Implement strategies to minimize obsolete stock, reducing business liability.
- Uphold safety, discipline, and housekeeping standards through the diligent follow-up of the 5S program.
- Enforce company policies and procedures, including participation in cost-saving programs and suggestion initiatives.
- Maintain compliance with KPIs and the ISO9001:2008 system.
- Provide SAP training to newcomers, covering areas such as MRP, PR/PO, and inventory management.
- Generate and regularly update statistical reports and analyses to support informed decision-making.
Qualification:
- Bachelor degree in Logistics management, business administration or any related field.
- Experience in demand and supply planning.
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Excel, leveraging technological tools for efficient planning and analysis.
- Good communication in English both speaking and writing.
- Experience in manufacturing company, with manufacturing processes and supply chain management knowledge.
