About the Role

As a Mechanical Design Drafter, you'll play a vital role in supporting our Engineering & Drafting Department-responsible for the design, layout, and execution of mechanical components and systems. This is a hands-on position that bridges design and operations, with occasional site visits and direct collaboration with customers, engineers, and production teams.

  • Conduct site measurements and liaise directly with clients

  • Collaborate with sales engineers on project planning and quotations

  • Manage design-related projects and assist in budget control

What You'll Bring

  • Background in mechanical trades, fabrication, or related field

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and Inventor

  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles and manufacturing processes

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder coordination skills

  • Able to work independently and proactively solve design problems

  • Basic MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Bonus if you have:

  • Experience in heavy industry, large rotating machinery, or turnkey projects

  • Familiarity with site work and on-site inspection practices
