Our client is a new plant setup by a leading high-tech, professional, and complex producer of medical devices. This position will manage the NPI project for the new product transfer from Global to the Thailand plant.
Responsibilities
Manage NPD, NPI and MP project, develop process, material, T&J, line layout, and production files.
Manage project engineers.
Maintain projects goings effectively as per company standards.
Lead project team and cross-functional team for RFQ, Pre-NPI and NPI to assure the project assigned, complete within schedule and pre-defined quality targets achieved.
Understand the customer specifications and company standards and verify the same in the finished product.
Technical owner for the product during all life cycle.
Prepare/collect/optimize all NPI/NPD documentation and deliverable, such as BOM, PFMEA, WI, production line layout, flowchart, etc,.
Communicate with customers and provide high level support at mass production phase, e.g., cost reduction, test failure, ECO/ECN, etc.
Risk analysis for product and document package provided by customer.
Prepare engineering efforts and validation efforts estimation for the project.
Lead to prepare the investment for equipment and jig needed.
Drive equipment and jig setup, validation, or verification.
Lead Prototype build during Pre-NPI, NPI build and report.
Project kick-off meeting and tasks assigned to cross-functional team.
Responsible for uploading BOM to PLM. Interfaces with PMC on BOM structure changes.
Process establishment and improvement, industrial engineering tasks and validation task
Check the quality of the product and identify the errors or faults and confirm with the quality plan
NPI checklist review & MP handover meeting.
Provide training to production operators or other functional engineers if required.
Organize supporting engineering resources for Quotations.
All other duties as assigned within Pre-NPI and NPI project phases.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical, Electronic, or equivalent.
5+ years of EMS/Medical NPI project management working experience.
Capable of working and relies on the global standard.
Can-do attitude.
Proficient Communication skill and English level
