Operation Manager

Responsibilities:

• Oversee overall factory operations, ensuring all departments collaborate effectively to meet targets set by senior management.
• Coordinate production planning based on customer demand, monitoring capacity and delivery schedules to maintain 100% on-time fulfillment.
• Supervise quality control initiatives to minimize defects and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Lead quality management system activities, including compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards, supporting both internal audits and external certification processes.
• Manage production costs, identifying opportunities for expense reduction without compromising quality.
• Establish and monitor standard work times and cycle times, ensuring efficiency aligns with sales takt time.
• Optimize manpower allocation relative to machinery availability and order volume to maximize labor productivity.
• Control procurement of consumables to maintain cost-effective production.
• Drive continuous improvement programs (Kaizen), promoting employee engagement in efficiency and quality enhancements.
• Maintain comprehensive employee skill matrices and job descriptions, facilitating ongoing workforce development and training.
• Facilitate daily communications through morning briefings and interdepartmental meetings to ensure alignment and information flow.
• Prepare and deliver regular operational reports to executive leadership.
• Support preventive maintenance planning for machinery to ensure operational readiness and longevity.
• Enforce workplace safety protocols, promote PPE usage, and cultivate a culture of safety awareness.
• Monitor environmental conditions within the facility to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
• Encourage teamwork and a positive organizational culture across all levels.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by executive leadership.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 15 years of experience overseeing industrial factory operations.
• Background in manufacturing industry is an advantage.
• Good understanding in ISO 9001/ IATF16949.
• Strong communication skills in both written and spoken English.
