The Human Resources Manager is responsible for managing the Human Resources function for company facility. Responsibilities include developing and implementing human resources strategy in support of the business strategy and objectives; providing focused and effective recruiting activities to support employee selection, placement, and orientation; fostering an environment of teamwork, empowerment and of continued growth and development across all functions; acting as an internal consultant to the management team; maintaining positive employee relations; promoting a safe and professional work environment; and providing for the implementation, administration, and timely and consistent interpretation of company policies, services and programs to increase employee effectiveness and to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
Plan, organize, and control all activities of the HR department, including managing the department budget; develop department goals and objectives; and evaluate department in relation to established goals. Manage customer feedback to ensure that expectations of the HR function are met and initiate actions when required.
Development and implementation of HR policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook.
Promote, support and participate in continuous improvement as an integral part of the HR function, recommending new approaches, programs, policies, and procedures to improve the efficiency of the department and services provided.
Provide coaching, counselling and policy guidance to management and employees; handle issues timely, consistently, and effectively to reach resolution and promote positive employee relations; and ensure adherence to company policies to ensure fair and equitable treatment of all employees.
Lead an effective recruitment and selection process that will identify qualified talent, support work force diversity efforts, and meet local staffing needs. Oversee related international assignment and relocation activities in conformance with company guidelines.
Develop, implement, and administer a comprehensive compensation/rewards and benefits strategy to attract and retain talent.
Processes payroll for hourly and salaried employees.
Performs benefit administration including enrolment, termination, change reporting, approving invoices for payment, and communication of information to employees.
Comply with legal requirements in HR, safety and environment.
Ensures compliance with OSHA, ISO14001 and company Corporate policies and procedures relating to Safety, Security & Environment.
Identify training needs and develop, implement, and deliver training programs that support work force diversity efforts and attract, retain and develop talent.
Develop employee and management performance programs; identify high potential employees and formulate a succession plan for key positions.
Represent the company at community activities and employee events.
Maintains Human Resources Information System records and compiles reports from database.
Prepare necessary HR reports regularly and as requested.
Other miscellaneous Human Resources duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree major in Human Resource Management or similar work experience is required.
10 years experience in Human Resource Manager from international organization.
Good command both written and spoken Thai and English.
Have a good personality and human relation.
Be able to work under pressure and deadline.
Proactive personality, positive attitude and hands-on.
