Product Training Specialist

Leading company in sport fashion retail.

Job Description:

  • Oversee all training activities and take full responsibility for the training function within the organization.
  • Liaise with cross-functional stakeholders to identify training needs and develop action plans.
  • Manage, plan, and align the training year plan and schedule with all stakeholders.
  • Act as the key contact and representative for the Thailand Training department within the regional team.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of training programs and implement improvements as necessary.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert on Skechers products, customer service, store standards, retail sales delivery, and the Mystery Shopper program.
  • Design, deliver, and execute retail and non-retail training programs.
  • Continuously support and recommend improvements to training processes.
  • Engage with all retail staff to mentor them towards achieving sales targets and company objectives.
  • Conduct store audits weekly or as per the monthly schedule.
  • Manage the Mystery Shopper project in Thailand by reviewing, verifying, analyzing, and proposing key actions based on monthly store audit reports.
  • Measure role performance using retail KPIs such as conversion rate (CR), average transaction value (ATV), units per transaction (UPT), and sales per square foot.
  • Ensure the quality of training materials shared with retail staff and other stakeholders.
  • Perform training administration duties and maintain training records.
  • Maintain a library of training resources and assets.
  • Provide day-to-day suggestions and guidance to all training team members when needed.
  • Issue and present weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports to be shared with local and regional training teams.
  • Handle any other ad-hoc projects/tasks related to learning and development as assigned by the company.

Skills & Experience:

  • A Degree/Diploma in Business or Training, preferably with related training certifications.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in a related field.
  • Strong training facilitation skills and the ability to create training content.
  • Passion for retail training topics such as sales techniques and customer service.
  • Results-oriented and well-organized in work.
  • Ability to engage and motivate the team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools and other media creation tools (e.g., Canva, video creation).
  • Willingness to travel upcountry occasionally.
  • Fluency in English, both verbal and written.
