Coordinating the development of and providing continuity of support of operating activities including review of daily plant operations for quality, capacity, yield, and cost efficiency.
Support the Technology / Plant Operations team by developing functional strategies, setting new standards, and developing and implementing new processes that have a short to mid-term impact on the organization and achieve the mission, vision, and goals of the organization.
To ensure that the quality management system (QMS) is fully implemented in an organized and efficient manner.
Provides a proactive and effective plant training program to meet business, plant, function, and individual goals.
Efficiently and safely execute the production plan for Laboratory.
Monitor the performance of machines, Technician, and product quality monthly to meet requirement and customer satisfaction, in an environment of continuous improvement and cost effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Engineering or Sciences Major Chemistry or related field in Chemical.
At least 10 years' experience in Quality Control/ Quality Assurance procedures, processing lab equipment or equivalent experience at a petrochemical plant or chemical plant.
Experience in implementing ISO management standards (ISO9001, 14001, 17025) and QMR role as well as setting up and starting up QC laboratory.
Able to operation of laboratory equipment such as MFI, HPLC, Oven, Chemical storage, etc.
Familiar to use SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.
Experience with GMP, HACCP, HALAL, Kosher and Food Safety.
Have a certificate of Safety Officer Management level.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
The primary environment is a combination of office, control room, laboratory, plant environment and some travel required.
Good command of spoken and written English.
