Quality Engineer (Injection Process)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the whole process quality of the Injection Process (Painting Department, including but not limited to the abnormality handling, the analysis of the quality issues or production defects, the investigation of such defects root causes and the definition of corrective/preventive actions to avoid them, customer feedback and complaint management, follow up and solve the problems as cross-functional team leader.
• Coordinate the Injection, Painting Quality team defining the team daily work arrangement and long term performance improvement plan and team development.
• Responsible for the daily process audit and corrective actions for the audit findings.
• Work closely with production team to achieve and improve the quality KPIs.
• Implement projects for the reduction and the continuous improvement of the defect rate, the material extra consumption and the overall operating costs.
• Provide analysis and reporting on the Quality KPIs and performance for injection / painting process to the local and corporate team.
• Definition of Quality SOP and Working Instructions;
• Responsible for the painting process quality documentation and relevant training.
• Make sure that Safety and 5S principles are followed in the quality team working environment.
• Responsible for issuing of PCP, Q-instruction and other Q-documentation.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years' experience in Injection, Painting process Quality control and in team management.
• College degree or above, preferably with Major in Chemistry or similar.
• Good English written and spoken communication.
• Familiar with Microsoft Office software package (Excel and data analysis).
• Logical Thinking and Problem Solving Attitude, Target Oriented Mindset and Capability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Strong coordination, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid chemical and mechanical background, with process quality control experiences in injection or metal production industry.
• Familiar with common quality tools, six sigma knowledge or project management experience preferred.
• SAP system knowledge.
