Job Description

  • Manage and optimize demand and supply planning in partnership with the commercial and regional SCM organization.
  • Responsible for direct material management and related supplier management to ensure uninterrupted market supply of externally manufactured products.
  • Seamless execution and effective leadership of the Demand and Supply Planning operations including resolution of shortages and sudden changes to enable business targets achievement and sales growth.
  • Deployment of the global planning strategy, systems, and operating model to deliver cost efficiencies, sustainability, safety & compliance, accurate QAIS and strong partnership with key vendors and stakeholders.
  • Ensure on time availability of AI's, bulks, packaging components and artworks to secure timely product supply to the sales organization and external customers in full regulatory and quality compliance and cost efficiency (best possible COGS/COGM, effective inventory management, etc.).
  • Lead the local S&OP process.
  • Analyze the demand & supply situations; agree with the commercial organization on countermeasures to avoid shortages/excess inventory and provide forecasts to production sites.
  • Partner with manufacturing locations for successful product and process transfer and appropriate change management to support local launch and other lifecycle management projects. Ensure compliance.
  • Provide input to manufacturing network analysis for selecting new tollers or expansion of existing products and help ensure successful implementation.
  • Propose, analyze improvement measures enabling cost reduction, and/or improvements in reliability, flexibility or quality.
  • Lead the improvement actions engaging with other functions (MKTG, procurement, quality…).

Requirements

  • University degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or Business Administration, preferably in Supply Chain

  • At least 5 years of experience in Planning / Inventory / logistic management
  • Strong analytical and communication skills, creativity, and persuasiveness
  • Very good to excellent problem-solving, networking and communication skills
  • Competency in digital/planning tools; ERP, if possible, MS Dynamics 365.
  • Strong command in speaking and writiing business English
