Job Description:

  • The Regional Sales Manager aims to enhance the company's market position and achieve financial growth by identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities.
  • This role focuses on forming and nurturing meaningful relationships with new and existing stakeholders to support the company's strategic goals and increase profitability.
  • Responsible for budget and financial approvals within the department, including purchase order approvals.
  • Holds authority for employment decisions and is tasked with leading internal and external communications related to business development. Additionally, this role is in charge of approving all department-related Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions (WIs), forms, and support documents, ensuring they align with the company's strategic objectives.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to promote revenue, profitability, and growth as aligned with the company's vision and mission.
  • Stay informed on market trends and industry conditions to identify business opportunities and potential partnerships.
  • Lead contract negotiations, ensuring favorable terms and compliance with legal and company standards.
  • Direct the planning and execution of business strategies to meet or exceed financial goals.
  • Conduct risk assessments for new projects and strategies, implementing measures to mitigate identified risks.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to support business objectives.
  • Participate in educational opportunities and professional organizations to maintain a competitive edge and advance the company's interests.
  • Ensure legal compliance in all business ventures and activities
  • Develop and manage the department's budget, providing accurate forecasting and adjustments as needed.
  • Maintain confidentiality of strategic information and protect the organization's value.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related fields, with an MBA preferred.
  • At least 8 years of professional experience in the Oil & Gas industry, with a significant focus on business development or strategic sales.
  • Demonstrated ability to travel regionally with minimal assistance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and overall computer literacy.
  • Strong command of English, with a TOEIC score of at least 700.Training:
  • Ongoing professional development in business strategy, market analysis, and leadership.
  • Specific training related to the Oil & Gas industry's regulations, technologies, and trends.
  • Strategic Vision and Market Insight: Combines the ability to plan long-term market growth strategies with a deep understanding of the Oil & Gas industry, leveraging trends, challenges, and opportunities for business development.
  • Negotiation and Client Relationship Management: Merges expertise in negotiating favorable deals with the skill to build and maintain strong client relationships, enhancing loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Financial Acumen and Risk Management: Encompasses assessing the financial viability of opportunities and managing budgets, alongside identifying and mitigating potential business risks.
  • Innovative Thinking and Results Orientation: Balances creativity in developing new business opportunities with a strong focus on achieving targets and organizational success.
  • Collaboration and Cultural Competency: Represents the ability to work effectively across teams while navigating and succeeding in a multicultural business environment, respecting diverse perspectives.
