Position: Relationship Manager - Financial Services (Up to VP Level)
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the Sales, Business Development, and Account Management teams, including pre-operational strategies.
- Create and implement a roadmap for investor acquisition, targeting demographics, acquisition methods, and funding projections aligned with the company's disbursal strategy.
- Lead business development and investor sales efforts, expanding and nurturing the investor client base.
- Serve as the primary contact for high-net-worth and institutional investors, providing tailored investment advice and portfolio management.
- Monitor and manage investor portfolios, ensuring alignment with clients' financial goals and risk tolerance.
- Achieve performance metrics, including new-to-bank growth and turnaround times, for the Investor Relations function.
- Collaborate with Risk and Sales departments to integrate feedback on investor preferences and demand.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the function.
- Source and onboard new SME clients through cold calling, networking, and referrals.
- Provide tailored financing solutions through cross-selling and upselling.
- Manage documentation of sales processes and resolve issues from client onboarding to loan disbursement.
- Conduct research to identify opportunities and create detailed reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- Extensive experience in Investor Relations, Sales Management, or related fields, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets.
- Expertise in portfolio management, including investment advice and optimization aligned with clients' financial objectives.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans and investor acquisition strategies.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience in recruiting and mentoring high-performing teams.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for building relationships with high-net-worth and institutional investors.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing performance metrics and SOPs.
- In-depth knowledge of financial products and market trends relevant to investor relations.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on detail and compliance.
