Responsibility / Job Description
- Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue targets within the Japanese-speaking market.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and analysis.
- Create sales forecasts, set performance goals, and report on sales performance metrics.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with Japanese-speaking clients, ensuring excellent customer service and satisfaction.
- Manage client communications, negotiations, and contracts to close deals effectively.
- Provide product or service consultations and offer solutions tailored to client needs.
- Research market trends, competitors, and potential new clients in the Japanese market.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to promote the company and build connections.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop region-specific promotional materials and campaigns.
- Work closely with product development, marketing, and customer service teams to ensure seamless execution of sales processes.
- Communicate client feedback to the product team to drive improvements and innovation.
- Prepare regular sales reports, budgets, and forecasts.
- Analyze sales data to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Track performance against KPIs and suggest actionable improvements.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Fluent in Japanese (business level) and English, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, International Relations, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven track record of at least 3-5 years of experience in a sales management role, preferably within the Machine Tool, with a focus on the Japanese market.
- Strong understanding of Japanese business culture and practices.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
