Job Title: Senior Sales Executive - European Airline
Location: Bangkok, Thailand
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dynamic and driven Sales Executive to join our commercial team in Europe. In this role, you will be responsible for growing our market presence, maximizing revenue, and building strong partnerships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and other key stakeholders. The ideal candidate has a passion for aviation, solid industry experience, and a proactive mindset to meet and exceed sales targets in a competitive European market.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute sales strategies to exceed passenger and revenue targets across assigned markets.
Develop and maintain strong, long-term relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and distribution partners.
Actively pursue new sales opportunities through client visits, networking, and cold outreach.
Deliver impactful product and market presentations to promote airline offerings and seasonal campaigns.
Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and fare structures to identify sales opportunities and recommend pricing adjustments.
Collaborate with the marketing team to coordinate and roll out promotions that align with strategic goals.
Monitor flight loads and yield performance to ensure targets are met and propose corrective actions when needed.
Maintain detailed and up-to-date sales reports, forecasts, and account records.
Represent the airline at trade shows, industry events, and corporate meetings across Europe.
Provide timely responses and professional support to travel agents and corporate partners.
Mentor junior sales team members and contribute to improving overall team productivity.
Liaise with internal departments (e.g., Revenue Management, Marketing, Operations) to ensure alignment on commercial objectives.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum 1 year of sales experience in the airline, travel, or hospitality industry within a European market
Strong understanding of air travel distribution channels and corporate travel landscape
Excellent communication and presentation skills in English; additional European languages are a plus
Analytical and commercially minded with strong negotiation skills
Able to work independently, manage multiple accounts, and prioritize under pressure
Willingness to travel frequently within Europe for client meetings and industry events
Professional, personable, and results-oriented team player
