SMT/ PCBA Engineering Director / WHA2 Chonburi/ (307JS)

Responsibilities

• Exercises control and coordinates department activities related to the SMT (Surface-Mount Technology) process and production issues. Conducts daily KPI-focused meetings with Engineers, Supervisors, and Planners.
• Initiates and implements strategies for SMT operations, including machine shot efficiency and optimization, and first-pass yield. Communicates these strategies to the Director/GM for results tracking and review.
• Represents the department in meetings and discussions with other sections on matters impacting SMT, Quality, Delivery, and the company as a whole.
• Leads investigations, analyzes data, and formulates countermeasures for customer feedback, machine problems, and quality issues. Monitors results and assesses the effectiveness of implemented solutions.
• Advises customers on technical details, advantages, and issues of existing and upcoming designs. Collaborates closely with customers during their visits.
• Analyzes operational requirements, breaks them down into functional and actionable requirements.
• Directs and motivates engineers to ensure satisfactory performance. Develops plans for their training and professional development.
• Liaises with other departments and personnel to ensure the achievement of set goals and KPIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Master's Degree of Engineering or related filed
• Solid skills in PCB Fabrication Process and PCBA Assembly Process, Valor DFM (Design for Manufacturability), EDA (Electronic Design Automation) Software and PCBA Failure Analysis
• Proficient in resolving conflicts and negotiating solutions to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• Ability to understand and consider the emotions and viewpoints of others to foster positive relationships.
• Very good in English for this position
• Able work in Siracha Chonburi area.
