Supply Chain Manager

We are looking for an experienced supply chain manager to ensure our supply chain and logistics operations function properly.
Responsibilities:

• Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues.
• Find cost-effective solutions for supply chain processes
• Resolve issues that come up (e.g. delays in delivery, accidents).
• Develop and implement safety guidelines in all aspects of the supply chain (e.g. use of trucks, forklifts)
• Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to land more profitable deals
• Works closely with sales team to determine optimum stocking levels throughout supply chain.
• Consults with Engineering personnel when evaluating alternative/new production materials identified for potential purchase.
• Maintains quality procedures to ISO Standard, including certification and auditing of all suppliers.
• Responsible for the receipt and maintenance of MSDS sheets for all incoming goods.

QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:

• • Bachelor's degree in Logistics and Supply Chain, Business or equivalent education.
  • 7 -10 years' experience in purchasing, inventory control, production control, and/or traffic control.
  • Statistic or equivalent education/experience is required.
  • Managing multiple product line environment is preferred.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Formal training in operation management and material control is desirable.
  • Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook).
