MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure smooth, timely, and accurate delivery. Monitor and keep track of incoming shipment vs. forecast, and provide regular update to team on availability of sales products as well as all promotional materials (such as samples, testers, gifts, merchandising materials, etc.) concerning launch readiness
  • Closely monitor and assess actual launch performance, anticipate extra demand, and coordinate with regional supply planning team to secure enough inventory in a timely manner
  • Work with Regional Demand Planner and Customer Service Team to manage exceptions caused by impact of promotions or other unexpected events which create significant variance vs. forecast, to ensure sufficient supply for both sellable and non-sellable items.
  • Monitor and alert the team on discrepancy in actual consumption vs. forecast of promotional materials, in order to minimize wastage and/ or to secure additional supply if required.
  • Proactively report product and material availability issues to team
  • Co-ordinate with internal team on FDA-related matter, to ensure complete and accurate product information for FDA registration in a timely manner
  • Co-ordinate with Warehouse team on shipment delivery timeline to meet launch dates and any other local events/ activities
  • Attend monthly forecast meeting and provide inputs and update on key market trends, global/ regional supply situation, etc.
  • Create and maintain product information in AX system with necessary updates
  • Liaise with regional/ global team on product quality issues which includes gathering feedback from all points of sales, issuing a report to the regional/ global team, and managing return/ destruction/ or exchange of stocks
  • Develop routine and ad-hoc supply/demand-related reports for management, including analysis on forecast accuracy

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of demand planning experience required, preferably in the luxury retail environment
  • Demonstrated proficiency in statistics, forecasting and forecasting methods with an understanding of their financial and operational impacts
  • Experience of contributing and executing well planned and successful prestigious brand events
