TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER

Jop Position: Technical Support Engineer - SE Asia

Responsibilities

1. Provide the highest quality technical support to customers across SE Asia both on-site and remotely from our Thai production facility.
2. Advise customers on specific applications and offer commercially viable solutions to both existing and new customers, with a focus on optimizing sales potential.
3. Work closely with Field Sales Managers and Internal Customer Support Representatives to clearly communicate and address complex technical requirements.
4. Perform root cause diagnostics for technical issues and complaints, offering immediate or timely solutions to ensure customer satisfaction.
5. Collaborate with manufacturing team in Thailand and other locations to address and resolve production-related issues.
6. Coordinate with engineers and materials specialists in the USA and China to rapidly supply solutions to specific projects.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
2. 2-5 years of experience in service engineer role
3. Strong technical understanding and ability to use precision measuring tools.
4. Thai national with proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages (e.g. Chinese) are beneficial.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
6. Ability navigate complex data bases.
7. Familiarity with commercial acumen, being able to identify opportunities, optimize sales, and making cost effective decisions.
8. Ability to understand engineering drawings, mechanical and electrical diagrams, and create technically sound reports promptly.
9. Highly self-organized, flexible, and capable of working under pressure in a high-intensity, fast-paced environment.
10. Willing to accept business travel across Thailand and SE Asia.
11. Experienced in sectors such as Label & Packaging, Converting, Packaging, or Manufacturing
